Honoring the Legacy of Lifelong Service

The Junior League of Portland’s Sustaining Members are the foundation upon which our organization continues to grow, innovate, and serve. After years of active membership, Sustainers remain deeply engaged in our mission—bringing their experience, leadership, mentorship, and passion for civic impact to every aspect of League life. Their continued commitment strengthens our community partnerships, guides future leaders, and ensures the League’s legacy endures.

Each year, we celebrate a Sustainer of the Year whose exceptional dedication, volunteerism, and advocacy reflect the very best of what it means to be a Junior League member. These honorees exemplify the spirit of lifelong service. Whether championing new initiatives, offering steady mentorship, or helping navigate pivotal organizational moments, their influence is felt far beyond their formal years of active service.

The women recognized here have shaped who we are today. Their leadership reminds us that the League’s impact doesn’t end with the conclusion of active membership—it evolves, deepens, and continues to inspire.

We honor our Past Sustainers of the Year with gratitude, pride, and respect for the legacy they’ve built and the future they empower.
