The Ninth Annual Gingerbread Jamboree will be a completely virtual event, transporting the beloved Gingerbread Jamboree experience to our guests at home.  In lieu of gathering together, we are selling curated gingerbread decorating kits to be delivered to your home via a network of volunteer elves on Saturday, December 12th, 2020.  This flexible format allows for activities to be done any time after the kit is received.

Gingerbread Jamboree is an annual fundraiser for the Junior League of Portland, with all net proceeds supporting our Mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Each year, the Junior League of Portland also sponsors families in need to participate and create priceless memories during the holiday season.  With each kit purchased, you are helping to support our efforts working to end the cycle of violence against women and children.

 The Classic Gingerbread Jamboree ($50.00 ea.) 

Designed for family-friendly fun, this kit includes everything you need to create festive memories at home.  Featuring a deluxe pre-built gingerbread house and lots of decorating supplies, you’ll be well-equipped to design your own sweet masterpiece.

Event FAQs

How will the kits be delivered?  

Contactless porch delivery is included to addresses within 10 miles of Portland.  Our volunteers will be delivering the kits to your home on Saturday, December 12, 2020, between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.   You do not need to be home to receive it, and will receive a text once delivery has been made.  

What safety measures are being taken?

Each kit is carefully packaged with your health and safety in mind.  All team members will be using face coverings, gloves, and proper sanitation during the assembly and delivery process.

I purchased the Classic Gingerbread Jamboree package.  How do I meet Santa (or Anna & Elsa)?

You will receive an email in early December with time options for the Zoom call with Santa or Anna & Elsa.  Once your time is confirmed, you will receive a separate email with instructions and a Zoom link to the call.  

My kids/partner/roommates don’t like to share and want to decorate their own house.  Can I buy an additional house by itself? 

Yes!  For those that also purchase a full package and want an additional house to decorate, we are selling stock gingerbread kits for $18.00 each.  These kits will only include the prebuilt house, icing, and candy.  They will not include any of the additional items (food, drinks, collateral, etc.)

Can I sponsor a kit for a family in need?

Absolutely!  There is an option during checkout to donate a package.  We appreciate your generosity!
